Title: Ryzen 3 4200G “Renoir” spotted on SiSoft Sandra
Post by: Redaktion on December 04, 2019, 16:19:17
Industry insider TUM_APISAK recently spotted a SiSoft Sandra OpenCL listing for the supposed Ryzen 3 4200G. Higher clock speeds promise better GPU performance. But does it feature Vega or Navi?

"Whats interesting" IMO, its 4200g, not U - i.e. the desktop version.

I am inexpert on the usual time frames for these things, but appearing in places like this usually implies a certain "imminence", & afaik, mobile usually precedes the ~downmarket desktop apu versions by a hefty ~6 months or so.

Maybe the Renoir desktop is coming sooner than expected?

Hope so. I would love one.
