Huawei has had its latest phablet series on shelves in its home country for only 6 days now. In this time, it has reportedly sold out on a popular online sales platform, accrued 1 million sales in 3 hours and may have raked in half a billion yuan per minute in the process. This apparent success is ascribed to the uptake of Google-less EMUI 10 in China.

Well Huawei is viewed domestically as almost synonymous with China itself, and it's National Day when nationalist brainwash is full steam, compounded with the fact that the nice little Party is in a trade war with the big bad US, and they deliberately underpriced it to move units when they couldn't move them abroad, it's not surprising that the models would sell well in China, even though I don't really have context as to how fast 1M in 3hrs really is.
