Banners put up by Huawei at the IFA 2019 venue confirm that the upcoming flagship Kirin 990 SoC will feature an on-die 5G modem instead of an external solution. The Kirin 990 will be the first SoC to be fabbed on TSMC's new 7nm FinFET Plus EUV process and will also be the first to support native 4K 60 fps video recording.
