What benefit is there to jailbreaking a PS4? From what I understand, you lose access to the Playstation Store, so you can't buy any games.

For the man in the street it's all about piracy.
Yes, for the people doing it, its all about the challenge and running Linux, emulators etc. But if we're being honest most folk will use it to steal games.
I'm not condemning that - I did it myself on other systems.

I don't need access to the store, I need access to free pirated games. I already have the 5.05 jailbreak, I just need a newer one for newer games.
Unfortunately yesterday he announced that he failed in that exploit, so this article is not actual anymore, close this thread.
