For the price, I feel that Apple cheaped out with the display. Same brightness and refresh rate as the Mini 5, and coupled with the jelly-scrolling it seems like a downgrade from the cheaper predecessor. Nothing else to complain about with regards to the rest of the hardware.
I really want to get this tablet, but I think I'll wait till January in the hope that Apple silently upgrades the panel to mitigate the jellyness. I realize it's wishful thinking, but they've done it in the past for other "gate" issues with iPhones and iPads after the supply/demand "crunch" period from product launch to Christmas.
The review says you can not make or receive phone calls. That is true for the base model. But with the cellular version you can. Also with base model, you can make calls with a hot spot,or by using a service, such as Skype.
Bad IPS - small contrast, bad black level, huge ips response. Small battery, huge temperature under load.
