Gigaset's GS4 is another smartphone manufactured in Germany that is positioned in the mid-range but still features wireless charging. The strong battery should enable long runtimes and a triple camera is also offered. The GS4 does many things right, but it also reveals shortcomings in the test.

Seems like MediaTek still can't keep up with Qualcomm. I added a similarly-priced Moto G9 Plus (239 EUR at MediaMarkt) with Snapdragon 730 to the benchmarks in the review, and it blows away the MediaTek chipset by 30-100% (!) depending on the task. Ever since my I made the mistake of buying a MediaTek-powered Samsung almost a decade ago, I close the review right away if the chipset is anything but a Snapdragon.
