Title: The Oath bloatware is coming soon to Samsung Galaxy S9 handsets on Verizon
Post by: Redaktion on May 04, 2018, 01:56:18
All Verizon Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ handsets will soon be pre-loaded with the following Oath apps: Newsroom, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, and Go90. Although the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, it has been revealed that Samsung and Oath will share the ad revenue generated by the aforementioned apps.

No way is this good and just may sway this  long time android user to go to Apple and dump Verizon. Samsung already loads the phone with a bunch of crap and Verizon is almost as bad.  Oath is a useless item and if they try forcing this crap, it is,time dump both Samsung and Verizon.

Why not dump Verizon and stay on Android with another carrier? I agree with you, prea-loaded stuff is usually useless to most users. If you want news, you can choose your sources/apps without having those Oath apps forced upon you.
