Title: GeForce RTX 3060 8 GB: New mid-range NVIDIA GPU shown to offer 35% less performance than original 12 GB model
Post by: Redaktion on December 03, 2022, 13:08:21
NVIDIA's latest mid-range graphics card has arrived, with the company electing to re-run the RTX 3060 rather than offering up an Ada Lovelace-based model. While the GeForce RTX 3060 8 GB contains the same GA106 GPU as its 12 GB sibling, NVIDIA's memory changes significantly hamper in-game performance.

There is no problem in selling this option - everything is decided by prices. Tests have shown how much lower it should be in reality. If buyers are adequate, just no one will buy these cards without a markdown of 30-40%. That's all. This is a problem for NVidia and card makers, not buyers. An adequate world has estimated its real value, then it's just a matter of finding idiots who will buy it for more than it's worth

I watched video. 35% less performance is false information. It was up to 26% less performance. Even on the image of youtube video in this article is "-26% FPS". Is not up to 26% less performance bad enough?
