Dell has confirmed support for Display Port 1.4,  which supports 4K all the way up to its high refresh rate; and supports variable sync. I agree that having HDMI 2.0 ports might severely limit the use of the monitor to support 4k ROKU/FireStick/ChromeCast at 4k 120Hz. Outlandish decision not to support HDMI 2.1 at the price asked.
