Twitter leaker Greymon55 has stated that the Ada Lovelace based Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card will be announced in September 2022 and go on sale in October. Its younger siblings, the GeForce RTX 3080 and 3070, are expected to be purchasable in 2023. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Nvidia-GeForce-RTX-4090-could-be-the-only-Ada-Lovelace-based-graphics-card-to-hit-shelves-in-2022.635248.0.html
Quoteconsidering that it has heaps of unsold Ampere-based GPUs lying around in its inventory. The company even cut chip orders from TSMC
The 3000 series is still 2×MSRP in my country, maybe they should try selling them at MSRP, they will be surprise how fasy thier inventory is emptying!

The resellers probably had to purchase the cards at a higher price, they probably wouldn't make anything out of it without incurring losses if they sell at MRSP.
These articles are appearing everywhere, cutting supply, get in quick, they won't release what you want, get it now. Its all B#$l S@#t. Fear of missing out is the strongest sales tactic. They are overstocked, with new chips for the next generation, read TSMC's forward guidance for future sales being weak due to customers having a LOT of stock, their customers are stocked up for next release. NVidia will do their best to keep prices high, sales moving and prepare to push new sales though for the new cards, so expect lots of FUD in the media. Just as it takes a lot of time to get stock, hence shortages, it takes a lot of time to sell stock.
