Google has brought more battery-related features to its smartphones from the Pixel 3 series onwards. Now, newer Pixel smartphones will stop charging at 80% under certain conditions, building on the Adaptive Charging functionality that Google already integrates within stock Android.

Jesus christ, they will really do anything BUT allow us to control how our phone charges.
I'd love to have this always turned on, but on a phone that has battery for two days (I.e. not a Pixel).
