The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 has made its AnTuTu debut with an overall score of 1,266,102 points. It is over 10% faster than the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. MediaTek is rumoured to unveil the SoC sometime in November.

Wow, that's a respectable improvement over the dimensity 9000 series and if it's manufactured using TSMC's 4nm LPP node, with improved efficiency in power consumption, then it's one helluva competitor to snapdragon 8 Gen 2,especially the Immortalis GPU of MC11, which dramatically has improved over its predecessor and which seems to have scored better than Adreno 740 and Apple A16 GPU. It sure is going to be cheaper than its snapdragon counterpart and the OEMs will have wider choice regarding SoC for their top smartphones than before, I'd say
