Honor will unveil its two new flagships, the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, at an event in London on May 21. The Honor 20 Pro, in particular, is gearing up to be a photography monster, and Honor has enough confidence in it to make it its first device to be evaluated by DxOMark.

One of the official samples point to a 9-11 blade aperture design from the complex sunstar visible in the sample, which is obviously impossible. Unless they advertise "AI sunstar", it's gonna be another clear fake. They still have time to add a page to their powerpoint and add the function months after launch if it's not there already.

Trust me when I say I'd like that to happen, but most of Android is open source and Huawei could do workarounds to the closed source portions with relatively little to lose. What could really kill Huawei (at least send it onto Chinese government life support) is ARM evoking its license, but unfortunately ARM isn't obliged to comply with the ban.
