Same talk every year, and every year... Apple stays completely irrelevant in the gaming industry. For example, Valve didn't even bother with CS2 for Mac because they said how less than 0.08% of the playerbase were using Macs to play CSGO.

World of Warcraft native version has been out since M1 and it performs well... the catch is it's a ~100GB app and realistically needs a system with 12-16GB of RAM. Add some newer AAA games and all those 8/256 will cry while 512/16 may not be recommended but in the "minimal requirements" column ;)

Given what Apple has touted with the iPhone 15 Pro's A17 Pro SoC along with the availability of the Game Porting Toolkit, the M3 chip should be capable of delivering AAA gaming on the Mac. To that effect, Apple is speculated to make some announcements pertaining to Mac gaming during its upcoming Scary Fast event on October 30.
