False. Microsoft is one of the most diverse companies on earth. Yes, the imbecile who claimed their racist against white people is also wrong, but so are you. You'll have to remove the space from the URL, as the site won't let me post a direct link for some reason.

Quote from: Truthbringer on May 24, 2024, 15:02:56I have to comment on the clear lie you told. Compared to PlayStation and I have Xbox. I have encountered more racist ws in Xbox. I am constantly called racial slurs as an African American on Xbox playing cod. Microsoft has been sued in the past for racial discrimination for lack of minorities. If you are going to make up lies at least research the history. Name 5 Xbox exclusives where the lead characters are black? I will wait. Name one Microsoft executive that is African American at Xbox or Microsoft. I will wait. Because there are none absolutely none. Please the only person that is racist is you. Why did you make this article about race? It has nothing to do with that. It says a lot about you being a bigot.

Last post by Redaktion - Today at 00:06:45
A new leak has revealed more specs for Motorola's Moto G84 refresh. According to a typically reliable leaker, the Moto G85 will combine its large battery and 120 Hz pOLED display with the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, not its likely weaker Snapdragon 4 Gen 3.

Quote from: NikoB on Yesterday at 21:51:21Again, the fhd screen is very depressing in 2024 - there is no choice of 4k IPS with 1500:1+ and a real response time no more than 6-7 ms on g2g/b2w. Text in the Chrome (and other Chromium-based code) is always cloudy due to incorrect grayscale text smoothing caused by Google. To eliminate this problem at 16" you need a ppi of at least 220-230. Or better yet, 300+. Which, again, only a 4k panel can provide. And in general, the overall pixelation of the text will be clearly visible in any program with such a low ppi. Is it possible to call such a screen - high-quality for an employee who spends hours working with text and graphics? I doubt it. Anything below 4k in 2024 for working/surfing should immediately cause a loss of -20 points in the overall results.

Finally, NikoB is back 😀.

So that's your problem with less than 4K resolution. I'm primarily working in 1080p on a 15.6" notebook (pretty low for your standards) and there are mostly no issues with text rendering in Chrome. Maybe you are referring to grayscale text smoothing because you are working on Linux? But most Linux desktops also support subpixel antialiasing via font hinting (aka Cleartype). On Windows there's support for Cleartype in Chrome, of course. And it looks nearly always great. Except when some 'cool' UX designers using a retina-style Mac to design their webpage and include some web fonts which don't support hinting at all. They look fine on higher dpi screens but rather crappy on lower ones. Fortunately, web font loading can be circumvented in those cases.

4K still doesn't make much sense in notebooks, they suck too much battery power... but you can choose your display yourself for this Lenovo device, the also have a 4k model.

Fact is, TRUE GAMERS, should just retire from using ANY OLED panel for just gaming.

ALL OLED panels has the awful flickering, ect. issues, THAT CANNOT BE CORRECTED... EVER!

Also mein Pi5 hat keine 6 HDMI Anschlüsse.

Ruhe in Frieden deutsche Autoindustrie!

I'm sorry but these articles are just plain SILLY at best and dumb at worse!

While there might be a FEW "on the fence" for the most part there are WIN users and there are MAC users. PERIOD.

No 'whizzbang' MAC is going to get a WIN user to switch. Ditto for a 'whizzbang' WIN device - it ain't going to happen!

Keep in mind that MOST/many of the 'light computer use' folk have migrated their use to their SMART PHONE or Tablets so the market for super long runtime on battery is shrinking.

IMHO: the 'real' competition here is - Chromebooks!

MS & et-all need to price their X Elite offerings with a compelling price (IE: Read VERY inexpensive!!) to gather market share from much much more useful devices.

After all, much like the Chromebooks - there really is not MUCH you can do with WIN-on-ARM at this point. The pricing of the devices ought to reflect that.

Unless of course they are expecting "the lemmings" to simply flock to the new 'whizzbang' devices because they are 'new' and offer 'CoPilot+'.

Comical.
