OPPO has just announced that it will debut its first ever proprietary chipset during its Inno Day 2021 event in mid-December 2021. This long-rumored project is now rumored to turn out the OEM's very own neural processing unit (NPU), albeit one with potentially specific functions. The company asserts that it will unlock new potential for the future of its consumer devices.
