Never trust Elon Musk or his products. He is very unstable and screws people around with his crazy business pric8ng changes.America has never seen such an opportunistic business. His products are good but he can't be trusted with the pricing. He messed up the auto market very badly trying to nickel and dine during the pandemic and the result was basic car cost has gone from 20k to 35k.
Even the supercharging is so costly that people stopped using tesla Ona Ling drive.that probably explains the dismantling of whole team.what did u expect from a unstable ceo.no one is going to pay 200 for roaming internet.I learnt my lesson and will stay away from his products whatsoever to avoid the heartache.

Quote from: Pioter888 on Today at 13:42:52Hi, can someone explain why power consumption in one test stabilized at ~45W and in another at 78W? Why are they throttled at different levels?

If I understand it correctly the 45W is where the CPU stabilizes. The spec sheet at the beginning of the article shows that the CPU is configured with a PL1 of 45W, which is the value it will stabilize under sustained load. Higher wattage (PL2 of 90W) can only be used for short load spikes.

Also those 45W apply to the CPU only, without any other components (like mainboard, RAM, SSD, cooler).

Then later in the section "Power Management", they measured 78W which probably applies to the whole device (all components together: CPU, mainboard, RAM, SSD, cooler) under sustained load. Whereas 45W from the 78W are already used by the CPU, and the remaining 32W are used by the other components.

At least that's what I think it is...

😬 That's insane, but until competition catches up (doubt) Starlink can do whatever they want to do

With the Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi offers a mixture of fitness tracker and smartwatch. With a larger display, GPS, and brightness sensor, but without a speaker and app store. Compared to its predecessor, the 8 Pro has a brighter display.

Qualcomm is expected to formally introduce Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 this October. With this, we will see brand-new flagship devices, possibly bringing a performance jump and many new features. But these upcoming phones are once again rumored to be expensive. This time, it's about the increased cost of the SoC's wafer.

I wouldn't get this, 16GB soldered is a deal breaker.

I do prefer 4K panels, though I will say I don't mind too much for most of today's video which already uses lossy/blocky compression. It's crispness in text and the better scaling options to achieve the desired UI element sizes that draw me towards 3840x over 3200x.

Last post by Redaktion - Today at 18:26:54
