Western Digital has been slashing the prices of its WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSDs. The SN850 was recently recommended by PlayStation 5 lead architect Mark Cerny as an "awesome option" for PS5 owners looking for a superfast internal SSD. WD has cut prices by as much as US$100 for its highest-capacity drive.

No way in hell. The WD SN850 is known to have an extreme heat issue and in that tiny storage space in the PS5, that has heat issues too, I'm not even sure with a heatsink attached to the 850 would benefit it any.
