We are currently reviewing the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2019, the convertible sister-model of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 7. One of the most striking differences between the two X1 ThinkPads is the aluminum chassis.

OK? Stiffer but heavier? Doesn't really make sense having the flagship fall back to aluminum, why were lithium alloys abandoned again?
@S.Yu - you mean magnesium alloys? Probably to increase profit margins?

Aluminum-magnesium-lithium alloy to be exact, but emphasis on the lithium, look it up, world's lightest 13" laptop (I think it still holds the record) at under 800g is a Lavie Z by NEC with the chassis made of lithium alloy.
Please compare X1 Yoga with Yoga C930 in your review!
I'm really looking forward to this review. Convertible, powerful, light, nice (matte?) screen and configurable with 1TB SSD. It could be the perfect laptop!
