An overclocked AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT can give good competition to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 in synthetic benchmarks as was discovered by a Redditor who managed to crank up the 5700 XT all the way to 2.1 GHz. At this frequency, the 5700 XT scored higher than the RTX 2080 FE in Fire Strike Ultra indicating that the RDNA architecture has good potential for overclocking.

I guess 3dmark has to make some improvements on their benchmark then huh? There is no way a 5700 XT even overclocked would beat an RTX 2080 Ti. Something is not right there. But maybe I'm just one of those blind people who can't seem to bow to AMD.

Yeah. That's pretty sweet. I'm seeing the long term though. No Ray tracing this year. Next year will definitely have Ray tracing.

I bet also that when they do have Ray tracing they are going to cost just as much or a little more than what the RTX 2000 series did the year before.

For anyone that doesn't want to wait a year for those to come out or for a price drop while they are saving money for a build anything without Ray tracing for even the most financially able and willing enthusiast would be fucking retarded. You might as well light a few hundred dollars and bottle your wasted hours in a mason jar and throw them out a window driving down the free way.
