A particularly well-known tech tipster has made the startling proclamation that there will be a smartphone on the market by next year that will not only sport a 108 MP camera but will also offer 10x optical zoom capability. Unsurprisingly, this statement has sparked a decent amount of speculation, with some believing it could be a reference to Samsung's Galaxy S11.

Well the phrasing seems pretty clear that it's "a" 108MP camera.
The 10x on the other hand seems a pretty unfavorable tradeoff for the current 2x, unless there's a 3x (2.5x seems the best solution) to back it up, so 0.5-0.7x+1x+2.5x+5-6x interpolated/cropped to 10x...or just lose the gimmicky 10x and go with 2.5-3x optical, provided the main sensor is fundamentally improved.

...and, I believe this leak is telling us not to get Note10 because the camera's not getting upgraded.
