The second generation refresh is set to be the thinnest and lightest 15.6-inch workstation Lenovo has ever offered when it launches later this month for $1950. Nvidia Quadro Turing will replace last year's Pascal offerings.

No, thank you. The term "workstation" is hugely misleading here, 16:9 screens are for watching stupidity on YouTube not for work.

So their mobile workstation will be thinner than their business laptop? Wonder how they're going to take care of the thermal.

While I agree with your sentiment regarding 16:9 screens, a "workstation" class laptop is not defined by its screen.  This machine has Xeon chips, ECC ram and Quadro cards.  It is a workstation.

Regarding the thickness, my guess is that Lenovo has just modified the lid.  The base should be the same as its X1 counterpart.

Hello,
I am particularly interested in viewing angles on 4k oled display? My last one 4k on my dell precision is awful, It's disappointing in laptop for 4000€ and I am searching to by new one only because of the display.
Thanks.
