The HP Chromebook 14 G5 runs silently and has excellent battery life. The device has Google Play Store integration too, but how does it shape up against other Chromebooks? Read on to find out in this short review.

Any info on what the "variant models" are?

The HP 14-ca051wm and HP 14-ca052wm seem to have the same specs (but different code) while costing less?

Are these like special variants given to department stores? Is there a difference?

Also, would like to see the comparison with the AMD version which has 2 extra years of google support vs the intel version while being cheaper.

no point buying 2 core. 4 core cost how much, 10 dollars more?
80 in cinebench r15 multi. in 2019?

Hi, guys, I bought same specs, but different branch HKC, I have HKC N13RA, it has same cpu, 32gb disk C, intel hd 500, full hd, and half and more price less like Chromebook, Its lighter..  battery 50Wh.
CPU eats 6Wts.. which is designed for longer hours (should), but.. reality is, that.. really if you are on high performance ( sometime), best probably balanced mode.. you rapidly save more battery life.. , also less brightness,
I tested if I am not playing or browsing, just reading, something, or typing, maybe 4,5 hours.. ( now its 2 years old).. but once, you are on wifi, sucking is much faster,,.. So I would say the biggest disadvantage is battery life ( but you should test Chrome), and Cache of dual obviously 2Mb which is decent for this price, budget notebook.
Now I am thinking to buy external notebook powerbank , for now I don't want spend money for new laptop.. And not doing nothing special.. why should I..
Plus is I played Alone in the dark, Battlefield 2, Duke Nukem Forever quite decent playing on lower FPS, but its ok..  also graphics supports 4k monitor, max 3 should support this graphics.. but RAM I guess not to much, for 3 screens, but this is not workstation.

have a nice day, make your choice.. ::)
