Apple has reportedly reduce orders from iPhone component suppliers again. According to DigiTimes, a "second wave" of order cuts is beginning to bring pain to some Taiwanese manufacturers. Apple is continuing to blame poor sales of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR for the order reductions.

Apple products do last longer because of their superior processor, my 1st gen iPP for example still seems like overkill for almost anything I throw at it while my Note8 sees a slight slowdown, it could also be due to poorly optimized Chinese apps though.

Pricepoint too high and no new innovations.

Apple start to follow Nokia's path...

Apple products cost also 2x more than other.

IIRC I got my first gen IPP 128GB variant for ~$600 USD second handed about 1 year after its release, not an unreasonable price considering it's the device that feels "new" for the longest length of time out of all my computing devices, and I generally only buy flagships.
