The LG 17Z990, 17ZD990, 17ZB990, 17ZG990, and 17Z99 are all probably pointing to a new series of 17-inch devices as part of its existing family of Gram laptops. With CES less than two months away, there's a good chance that LG will have something up its sleeve to announce.

I'm honestly really excited about this. Should LG get the formula exactly right, this may very well be the first premium 17" ultraportable laptop in the market. Hope they season it nice and juicy with a 99 Wh battery, dual TB3 ports, dGPU and more.

As many reviewers including Linus have pointed out, LG Gram is the unparalleled combo of portability - specs, form factor, battery, durability, hardware and price.

The 15" Gram with 16GB, MX150, and 4-lane TB3 port would have been the perfect laptop if they just would have used a little of that empty space in there to put a better heat management solution.

*4k screen very inefficient and unnecessary on a laptop size screen
*implementing a gtx 1060/1070 in a chassis that thin and light is physically impossible at the present and will defeat the purpose of an it's name 'gram'
*matte black is the worst scratch proof material and also the ultimate fingerprint magnet
