Even though Gigabyte and Lenovo officials were previously claiming that Nvidia's Turing-based Mobility GPUs would be launched in late 2018, that might not be the case, at least according to new information obtained by WCCFTech. There is a leaked picture that shows the names of the Turing-based Mobility GPUs, and it looks like these will be showcased at CES in January.

I would like to know Notebookcheck's opinion on this.

To me, it seems like the mobile GTX 20x series parts will be a Pascal refresh. Meanwhile, the mobile RTXs are going to be way slower than their desktop counterparts, like in the old days (pre-Pascal).

2019 gaming notebooks will need to put HDMI 2.1 in the mix.  Nvidia has not shown any chipset capable of supporting 2.1 yet.  TV's and screens will start mass adoption of the new interface which has 4x the bandwidth of 2.0b.  Failure to support it may dilute demand for the new GPU's until a 2019/2020 refresh
