iPhone XR gets FCC approval, will ship in late October
« on: September 28, 2018, 20:11:40 »
The FCC has finally approved Apple's iPhone XR, and the smartphone is expected to hit the stores on October 26. Apart from the fast A12 Bionic SoC, the "more affordable" iPhone does not really feature anything that justifies the US$750 price tag. It only has 3 GB of RAM, a 12 MP rear cam and a 7 MP selfie, which in most cases is subpar even for mid-range phones.

Aside from the A12, the upgraded camera is more than decent, it should provide identical results to those already showing up in XS reviews.
