It's not easy categorizing a growing lineup of products for consumers to understand when new models are constantly being introduced. Lenovo will be changing its Yoga branding to something more self-explanatory for shoppers and the general consumer starting with the new IFA 2018 lineup.

How on earth is this self explanatory? The original nomenclature is more straightforward.

This is excellent news. Before, people tended to confuse Ideapad with Yoga and the Yoga with Thinkpad Yoga because model names were similar e.g. Yoga 720 15", Ideapad 720s 14", Ideapad 720 (older model).

Now they'll know which is which. Although screen sizes coming after model name is still confusing. Lenovo should find a way to integrate screen size into model name as well, like they do so with Thinkpads e.g. x280, T480, T580.
