Fortnite Mobile for Android beta invitation now open to non-Samsung phones

Epic Games is now accepting invitation requests for installing Fortnite Mobile on non-Samsung devices. Once signed up, users have to wait for a confirmation email before Epic activates the account for playing Fortnite. However, developers have found a way to modify the APK so that any phone can be spoofed to be the Galaxy Note 9 in order to instantly play the game.

Can confirm that i have the fortnite beta request accepted and it's running in my Samsung Galaxy Note FE (the refurbished Note 7) even though it isn't in the list of supported hardware. Unlike the previous reports stating that the minimum GPU is Mali G71 and Adreno 530, it successfully ran in older Mali T880 but locked at maximum 30 fps and lowest graphics. I don't know whether the same specced S7 is locked in same way or not.

I'm eager to find out its performance in non-samsung device and outside of supported device list.

And about the samsung exclusivity, given mine isn't in supported device list (even though it is a samsung) is probably (CMIIW) meaning there isn't any exclusivity, at least only to listed supported models (by samsung).

Thanks for sharing your observations, Ben. I think Epic is locking all non-supported devices to 30fps low. Hopefully, as the beta matures, the limitation might be removed. The exclusivity was not explicitly mentioned by Samsung on stage so while there might have been some plans earlier, I think they've dropped it.
