I never understood why Dell doesn't used the AU Optronics monitor for G5 and G7 version these are terrible, really, without comparison are really terrible.  :(

The laptop is good overall. On my opinion the quality of the plastic used is sufficient, it doesn't look too cheap. I bought it with a 120€ discount from Dell so it was worth it.

However I can confirm the poor performance on battery. I recently tried to play ROTR and the Witcher 3 in the train and while I achieved respectively around 50fps and 40fps on sector it only performed at 8fps and 18fps on battery, even after setting windows battery usage to maximal performance.
