Razer stealthily releases the first Razer Blade Stealth with a quad-core processor

Razer has announced a quad-core upgrade for the 13.3-inch Razer Blade Stealth. This provides more processing power for use with the Razer Core and external GPU. Razer has also includes a larger power supply, indicating that they might tweak a higher CPU TDP for increased performance.

No reason to be getting this now, since the new Surface Book was released. 13" w/ a 1050 (and a 2-in-1) vs 13" w/ no GPU whatsoever. Seems like a nobrainer to me.

You're forgetting that the Surface Book lacks TB3 so that you can plug in peripherals/an eGPU. Different people different use cases.

This laptop could barely handle 15W TDP 6500U with two fans inside. The case was very hot during operation.
