Benchmark scores of the Zen-based AMD Ryzen 5 2500U APU are out on Geekbench and they seem promising. While the results seem to somewhat corroborate AMD's claims of a close to 50% performance increase over Bristol Ridge APUs, details are still scarce with respect to specifics of the on-die components.

Yeah, it all nice and good numbers but what's about the real stuff? The laptop itself by the vendors?

Will it be gimped again? or it's gonna have nice selections like Intel's (stylus, 2-in-1, gaming, etc)?

We are eager to get our hands on a Raven Ridge laptop as well. Ultimately its up to OEMs to make the best use of these chips.

Meanwhile the 3W SoC in the iPhone X scored over 4000 and 10000, respectively.
Goes to show just how much a different universe the competitive smartphone environment is compared to the monopolystic PC environment.
