In what could be another potential PR headache for Dell, the latest 1.0.7 BIOS update for the XPS 13 may be accidentally rolling back systems. It's recommended that XPS 13 owners do not install this latest update until Dell either reuploads a new BIOS update or directly addresses users' complaints.

I can confirm this happend to me today.  It was actually the top bios update on their website released on the 22nd of August and marked as critical.

The update failed after a couple of minutes and the laptop no longer turns on the bios repair process does not work but does lead to the power light staying on for a few seconds when started and no diagnostic codes or beeps are given out.

I will post back if I find a solution but so far Dell support have referred me back to the retail store who won't have a clue.
