Asus has yet to officially announce a 15-inch ZenBook Pro with GTX 1060, but the Taiwan Excellence Awards website reveals some details.

Really with 1060? I would have thought 1050 as that is the wattage equivalent to the 960m in the old one. I would think it would have trouble cooling a 1060

No Thanks

It'll still have a mail-in warranty, so despite the fact that it has a great video card, the XPS can be purchased with an in-home 1 to 2 day repair warranty. Asus can't offer that, so no thanks - I'd rather have a working laptop with a pretty good GPU than a mail-in two week repair one with a great GPU.

Razer was able to put a 1060 in the blade by reducing the max TDP for less performance. It's possible that this will be done here.

The Taiwan Excellence post says GTX1050Ti graphic card now, which is more likely. :) I can't wait for this laptop to come out.

If it's a 1050Ti, it's really quite less appealing since the new Yoga 720 will have a 1050 in it as well.

Performance is identical. Here's my Firestrike score from the late 2016 Blade: http://imgur.com/a/NsgLO

No OC, no UV. This is an expected score for a laptop 1060. You can check it for yourself on this very website.
