PC debacle. Even high-end notebooks hit their limit with Batman: Arkham Knight. We've checked the performance of the game with its open-world structure on several different systems.

I'd make a point _not_ to set the frame rate limit to something ridiculous like 9999. That's just asking for trouble, if you let the driver pre-render too many frames (and that number lets it pre-render as many as it's configured to) you will create a traffic jam as soon as anything that would cause hitching (poor texture prioritization) sets in and this will make the game 100% unplayable.

Set the framerate limit slightly below what you realistically expect your hardware to be able to sustain and you will avoid this problem (this is part of the reason the 30 FPS cap is effective in stabilizing performance on a lot of hardware). Also manually forcing pre-rendered frames to 1 will as well, and this is the more important thing to do if you're comfortable making changes to driver profiles.
