If the G551 also comes with an option for NTSC 100% pre-calibrated monitors like the GX500, I will be very happy.

what's the difference between this and the g550jk? it seems like the power button is missing on this one...

G551 - simlpy a gorgeous all-around gaming laptop...
IPS FHD, Nvidia GTX 860M, Red Backlit Keyboard, and an SSD.
I hope the build quality & the speakers is the same as the Asus N550jk.
I'm planning to buy the N550jk but im gonna wait for G551.

G551 allows for an SSD option and an option between Nvidia GTX 850M and 860M.
I notice also that the power button and shortcut button have been replace by speakers.

does anyone knows if G551 have subwoofer like N551? On videos you can see subwoofer plug, but there's no information about it, someone?

hi guys,

we've contacted Asus for more info (including the possibility of continuing the external subwoofer). will update ASAP, hopefully with a review model!
