Review HTC One Max Smartphone
« on: November 16, 2013, 22:22:25 »
Big Brother. Step one: Take HTC's successful One smartphone and blow it up to gigantic 5.9 inches with Full HD resolution. Step two: Add a swift Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core with an integrated Adreno 320 graphics card. Step three: Blend in 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a big 3300 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner. HTC's new One Max is complete. Is this recipe enough for a podium placement in the phablet category?

Hi. The fact that many phones(tablets) do not have a user serviceable battery is a big minus. Battery usually degrades over time and I can order a new battery while still using the old one -- but only if I can replace it myself. The problem is that you (the reviewer) blabber on about compactness and performance but you are using the specs of a brand new battery. So, my take on shop-serviceable battery is that the phone is hastily made with a logic it will not need to last longer (glass, display) than the battery.

Okay, what's with the matte screen mantra going on this site.
Are you REALLY suggesting a matte screen protector for this?
How on Earth can you neglect the absolutely horrid and painstaking, eye popping, degradation in the image quality caused by such screen layer?!?!
Its a festival of grainy! Absolutely ruins the screen sharpness and homogenity!

I recently ordered a pack of 6 screen protectors for my Note 3,but instead of the clear type I got the matte crap.
Threw it all in the trash.
Just can't believe how people can ruin their phone experience with matte layers.. guess there's a lot of people in need of a glasses out there!
