Turned away at checkout: Why even young travelers struggle with booking websites

Digital barriers are everywhere, but they seem particularly pronounced on travel booking platforms. According to a survey, 52 percent of consumers surveyed in Germany have abandoned an online travel booking because of usability issues. Among those aged 18 to 29, the figure rises to 69 percent. The most common obstacles include payment failures, confusing website layouts, and forms that are difficult to navigate.
