BYD enters the luxury electric car segment: The new EV called "Da Han" is an electric sedan measuring more than 17.3 ft long, with up to 764 hp and a CLTC range of 626 miles. At compatible fast-charging stations, the battery can reportedly charge from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes. Presales for the luxury EV will start in China at the equivalent of around $36,900.
