Linux gaming could overcome another major Windows-only hurdle

A new open-source project called Xodus is attempting to break down one of the heretofore impenetrable barriers between Linux gamers and Microsoft's PC gaming ecosystem. It has already cleared some important technical hurdles, although actually getting games to run remains the considerably bigger challenge.
