DOOM finally inches closer to running on the Neo Geo AES

A new Neo Geo AES DOOM effort has emerged after Modern Vintage Gamer demonstrated a basic raycasting engine on SNK's famously 2D-focused hardware. The DoomGeo project has since expanded the concept with DOOM-style gameplay elements, including a HUD, weapons, enemies, and visual features that bring the console closer than ever to running the classic shooter.
