I'm sorry, but it makes me wonder where the 'competition' here is?
AMD has supplied the APU's for BOTH the PlayStation & Xbox devices for a while now. While AMD has shown that it is/was able to combine a fairly decent iGPU into APU packages for both Sony & Microsoft as well as packages targeted for the handheld and high end markets - what ever happened to the mid-to-low end of the PC market?
Here's where I'd recon that AMD has agreements in place with BOTH Sony & Microsoft where AMD does not release attractive products that might compete directly with those companies 'console gaming systems'.
Of course, one might wonder where Team Blue (Intel) is in all of this. Surely when I can pick up a NEW Asus Win11-Pro laptop for < $300USD that has a useless iGPU one might expect that for a mere few $100 more (IE: less than $500) one could pick up a laptop with a 'decent' or 'good enough' iGPU to play AAA games at reduced settings. (much like all the handheld PC's do)
Be it price fixing/marketing wherein a laptop that is actually capable of playing games HAS TO/MUST BE priced > $1500USD NEW.
IMHO: after all, the costs of PC gaming is one of the selling point & attraction of console gaming in the first place. :)
