Capcom admits Monster Hunter Wilds fell short of the company's expectations

The title managed to move less than half a million copies in a 3 month period from April to June 2025 after a strong start that saw Capcom sell as many as 10 million copies at launch.

Not really shocking, considering it fell short of basic product standards and by no means should have ever passed QA. Capcom is back doing shameless cash grabs and then acts surprised when it backfires.
