My speed is slower than it was before now iam lucky to get 75mbps when I was over 200 before the internet crashed.

Automattic

I had starlink for years and the speed was rarely over 75mb and during peak times it would get down to 5mb. Seemed like it was just getting slower ever month. This is in Arizona.

I think I'm just in an overloaded area. I hope that eventually the speed and consistency gets better. Luckily I still had the option for regular broadband in the mean time.

Rick

I'm just south of Casa Grande Arizona and I average 250MB daily with speeds to 300 or so. Since the outage I've seen 400MB plus at low peak.

NotElon

Nope, about 180 before the crash, running at 100 now. Nice PR attempt but it's easy enough to check that it's a lie.

Mahascottie

I am in Mahahual Mexico and my speeds have definitely increased on my Starlink mini I love how they all say 100MGPS when I have been getting over 200 on average for the past 4 days.

Jerry Mckimmie

I been seeing huge speeds, like just now at 6pm (peak times) I'm seeing 431mbps download and a 40mbps upload.

Great PR move for Starlink.

1. Lookup users with many DNS hits to reddit/x/Bluesky/Threads/social network.
2. Give them a free boost in speed.
3. Let the usual fanboy spam work its magic.

Minimal cost for Starlink; keeps their name in a good light, people get interested in potentially signing up.
Still no guaranteed Service level/Speed at that price tier.
