An influential figure in Xbox gaming history doesn't see much clarity in his former employer's current approach. Mike Ybarra believes that Microsoft should focus on multi-platform Xbox games and services rather than hardware. Even so, the company is exploring its options for future consoles.

Consoles, as a whole... e.g. Home-based, portables ect... has a sustainable market; the main issue(s)  for Microsoft is, like with every Xbox generation... Phil Spencer.

After the OG Xbox was released moons ago, each generation afterwards that extreme success of the OG, Uncle Phil had turned into this forced political movement, and today, it's even worse and it shows up in every single Xbox:s title that has put Xbox on the map. e.g. Halo, Gears of War, ect.

Of course, some folks might disagree but, IMO, Phil, and minions (Bonds, ect) needs to sunset... fast... if the CEO of MS still cares about its Xbox's division and more importantly, its Xbox's userbase.
