After just three years, Nothing has announced it is killing off one of the features that made its phones stand out. The light strip that graced the back of its phones, which is officially known as the Glyph Interface, may not make it to the Nothing Phone (3).

She absolutely killed it in her performance tonight!

He was flawless in the job interview, he really killed it.

They killed that song at the concert; it was amazing!

This article killed me.

Nothing has killed the Glyph interface.

...

Do not take the word literally.

Ridiculed feature that's being actually very useful? You can use it along with flashlight to get even more light, you can customise it per contact to blink differently (or not blink at all) for any contact you want, you can use it to set visual timers where the light bar just "discharges" itself, you can use it for basically anything you want, the only limit is your creativity. And that is ridiculous? Okay, lol.

Why do you need lighs on your phone beside the flashlight?

Yeah some people like to have a full-on light show every time someone calls or sends a msg, others may just call it a full-on annoyance.

It is clear that your mind is already limited to "it's useless" so I'm wasting my time here but whatever.

To answer your question - why tf not? Starting with low light/dark setting when you can pick if you want to use just flash, just glyph lights, or both together if you need as much light as possible (far more than just a flashlight can provide). There, take a look: https://imgur.com/a/e7px5lZ

I took those just for you but I won't bother to reply more to your 2D POV.
