How is it even be called a gaming tablet when there is no MicroSD slot nor storage upgrade option?  Even my kid filled up her 256GB iPad with just downloaded YouTube, avatar world and Roblox!  We haven't even talked about those crazy size AAA like Genshin.  I know that the 2023 version has a micro as slot but SG elite is exactly what I am looking for a revolutionary upgrade in power efficiency over the older gen.  Disappointed.

No headphone jack either so maximum audio latency. Which isn't very "gamer" either

The upcoming one does have microSD slot, already confirmed by Lenovo.

Needs a proper uk release date as I've got a vacation coming up & Alldocube's iplay 70 mini ultra is on my radar especially at £240.

Paradoxical-Oxymoron

"gaming tablet" is just marketing nonsense and almost like a oxymoron or paradox.

If you care about true modern AAA gaming (i.e. not angry birds), then you're gonna need games to be coded for or game developers coding for a platform using a DirectStorage like API + a form of removable storage more similar to the nVMe SSD medium such as SD Express to benefit and alleviate one of the biggest bottlenecks, which is storage I/O throughput.

The only arm tablet I'm aware of that can do that is the switch 2. (Well it's more a handheld but if you detach the joycons I guess you get somewhat of a smaller tablet)

Otherwise, the only AAA gaming you'll be doing on the rest of these "gaming tablets" will be retro games from 15-20 years ago via emulation.
