The recent news about Borderlands 4 release being pushed forward to make room for GTA 6 turns out to be false as Gearbox has confirmed it is solely because of the development trajectory. GTA 6 fans are still left speculating when the game will arrive.

Given that it's Randy Pitchford, I don't buy it. The dude is all over the place. Once you've set a launch date, why bother moving it up by two weeks? Even if you're confident in your game, almost two extra weeks just gives your devs more time to polish it and make it even better = even more confidence. I have no doubt BL4 will be a solid game, as long as the character writing is acceptable.
