Xiaomi 16 to ditch compact flagship credentials in favor of larger display and thinner build

According to a new leak, Xiaomi's next-gen flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 16, will be larger than its predecessors. Reportedly, the phone will ditch the 6.36-inch display used on the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 14, and Xiaomi 15 in favor of a larger display.

I am also not happy with some things on offer, but nobody wants compact phones. That is, fewer people do. It's probably just more cost effective to not make them.

The 6.3-inch Xiaomi 15 is just 1cm longer than the 5.1-inch Galaxy S6 Edge. Width is about the same.

So yes, any phone under 6.3" now would be a compact phone by every definition of the word.

I skip the 15 to wait for the 16 with periscope lens. Love the 14 for its size, now it is getting bigger? I dont know. Should have kept the size or maybe slightly larger (6.4 or 6.5) but bring in a periscope zoom .
