Kickstarter announces immediate suspension of Ringo smart ring campaign

Kickstarter has suspended the Ringo smart ring crowdfunding campaign. A couple of days before the campaign was due to end, Kickstarter emailed backers to reassure them that pledges had been cancelled. In the statement, the company also hinted at why it had taken this action.
